Micro Monsters in Pictures

They are very small. Very tiny. Many of them you will not even notice when walking through the park or forest. Many people drive away from them many of them escape from them. But the world of insects can be beautiful. And these pictures prove it. Have a look…  Weevil. Size: 5 mm.    The male spider species Myrmarachne formicaria. Size – 6 mm.  The female carrot flies. Size – 10 mm.   Spider-racer. Size – 6 mm.   Earwig in the dew. Size – 16 mm.  The noble chafer beetle. Size – 17 mm.  Platistomus white. Size – 7 mm. This is a common fungal weevil in Sweden. In fact, this is not true weevils (Curculionidae), but they belong to the same superfamily (Curculionoidea). Beetle larva. Size – 8 mm.
